I spent my summers visiting my grandmother in Mexico while growing up—the colors, the warmth, the nature, and, best of all, the panaderías (bakery shops). Pan Dulce, meaning “Sweet Bread”, is a lot more than just a sweet treat in my family. I can't recall a family gathering where my grandpa didn't get up after dinner to bring home some fresh pan dulce and warm coffee to share with the family. It's a conversation starter. It's a way of showing love. It's healing.

“A Pan Dulce A Day” is a play on the proverb, “An apple a day keeps the doctors away,” and explores the concept of a medicinal bakery that sells delicious sweet bread with the ability to cure all your ailments!
